Last month Aeris Global installed an aerdisc at Selwyn District Council’s Leeston Wastewater Treatment Plant and produced immediate results.

“The aerdisc aerator recently installed at Leeston wastewater pond has dramatically increased usage of the pond. We noticed all dead zones and short circuiting have been eliminated and the overall pond colour has changed.
The 7.5kW aerdisc has increased the DO even though it replaced an old 11kW aerator and maintains the DO when all other aerators are powered off. The addition of DO control will provide better control and save energy.
aerdisc has very good efficiency and is completely rag-free so is a great step into the future of wastewater treatment pond aeration.”
